Description

This refreshing Triple Berry Lemonade combines the tartness of freshly squeezed lemons with the natural sweetness of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Perfect for a hot day, this homemade lemonade is easy to prepare and offers a vibrant fruit flavor that delights the senses.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)

Other Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold filtered water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the berries: Rinse the strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean towel. Slice the larger strawberries into quarters to help release their flavor.
  2. Juice the lemons: Squeeze fresh lemons to obtain about 1 cup of lemon juice, then strain it to remove any seeds for a smooth lemonade base.
  3. Dissolve sugar: In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar fully dissolves into the lemon juice.
  4. Add berries and water: Add the prepared berries and 4 cups of cold filtered water into the pitcher. Stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly without mashing the berries.
  5. Adjust flavor: Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice as preferred to suit your palate.
  6. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld. Serve over ice and garnish with extra fresh berries or lemon slices for an attractive presentation.

  • Use organic lemons and berries for the freshest taste and fewer pesticides.
  • Adjust sugar quantity depending on the sweetness of your fruit and your personal preference.
  • This recipe can be easily doubled or halved based on crowd size.
  • For an adult beverage, add a splash of vodka or gin before serving.
