Ingredients
Scale
Cauliflower
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- Cooking oil spray
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Glaze
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp gluten-free flour or cornstarch (for thickening)
Garnish
- 1 tbsp green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prepare Cauliflower: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spray a large baking sheet with cooking oil spray. Spread the cauliflower florets evenly on the sheet and season them with garlic salt, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Roast Cauliflower: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the cauliflower for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the florets are golden and tender.
- Make the Glaze: While the cauliflower roasts, combine honey, minced garlic, low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos, sriracha, hoisin sauce, and gluten-free flour or cornstarch in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens slightly and is well combined, about 3-5 minutes.
- Toss Cauliflower in Glaze: Remove the roasted cauliflower from the oven and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm glaze over the cauliflower and gently toss until all florets are evenly coated.
- Garnish and Serve: Transfer the glazed cauliflower to a serving dish. Sprinkle sliced green onions and sesame seeds on top for added flavor and crunch. Serve immediately while warm.
