Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and optional strawberry extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the freeze-dried strawberries, crushed cereal, and white chocolate chips.
  5. Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden on the edges and set in the centers.
