Wonton Taco Shells:
- 8 wonton wrappers

Spicy Tuna Tartare:
- 6 ounces sushi-grade ahi tuna, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (or more to taste)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- ½ avocado, diced
Garnish:
- Sesame seeds and microgreens for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Wonton Taco Shells: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry wonton wrappers until crisp and golden. Drain on paper towels.
- Make Spicy Tuna Tartare: Combine diced tuna, soy sauce, mayonnaise, sriracha, sesame oil, lime juice, and green onion. Fold in diced avocado. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Assemble Tacos: Spoon tuna tartare mixture into crispy wonton shells. Garnish with sesame seeds and microgreens.
Notes
- To make ahead, prepare tartare and wonton shells separately and assemble just before serving for maximum crispness.
- For a gluten-free version, use tamari and gluten-free wonton wrappers.
