Description

These Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are the perfect party food or game day snack. Packed with thinly sliced ribeye steak, bell peppers, onions, and melted provolone cheese, all sandwiched between soft Hawaiian rolls and baked to perfection. Easy to make and even easier to enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale

    Ingredients for Philly Cheesesteak Sliders:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak or deli roast beef
  • 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 (12-count) package slider rolls (such as Hawaiian rolls)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Sauté vegetables: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and green peppers until soft.
  3. Cook the steak: Add the steak or deli beef to the skillet and cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Prepare the rolls: Slice the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish. Layer with cheese, steak mixture, and remaining cheese. Top with the other half of the rolls.
  5. Brush with butter: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and oregano. Brush the tops of the rolls with the mixture.
  6. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Serve: Let rest, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • You can prep these sliders ahead of time and bake when ready.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed mushrooms or a smear of mayo or horseradish sauce before baking.
