- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 20 ounces mini marshmallows
- 10 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
- Prep Pan: Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter to prevent sticking.
- Melt Ingredients: In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, reduce the heat to low, add the peanut butter and vanilla extract, stirring until the mixture is smooth and combined. Then add the mini marshmallows, stirring constantly until fully melted and smooth.
- Combine with Cereal: Pour the Rice Krispies cereal into the pot and gently stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow and peanut butter mixture.
- Set and Serve: Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly. Let it cool and set at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Once set, cut into 24 squares and serve.
