Description

Peanut Butter Cheerio Bars Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (optional for extra sweetness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups plain Cheerios cereal
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Dish: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Melt Ingredients: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine peanut butter, honey, and brown sugar. Stir until smooth and bubbling, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla and salt.
  3. Mix with Cereal: Pour warm peanut butter mix over Cheerios in a bowl. Stir until coated.
  4. Press into Dish: Firmly press mixture into prepared dish. Add chocolate chips on top if desired.
  5. Cool and Serve: Let bars cool at room temp for 1 hour or in the fridge for 30 minutes. Cut into bars and enjoy!
