Instructions
- Bake the Chocolate Cake: Prepare and bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions. Let it cool completely.
- Prepare the Cake Mixture: Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl. Add the chocolate frosting and mix until well combined and the mixture holds together.
- Shape the Cake Balls: Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
- Coat with White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Decorate with red, white, and blue sprinkles while the coating is still wet.
