  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (divided)

Filling and Topping:

  • ¾ cup Nutella
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • nonstick cooking spray or butter for greasing skillet

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a bowl, whisk melted butter with sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and 1½ teaspoons cinnamon.
  4. Form dough: Combine wet and dry ingredients to form dough.
  5. Layer the dough: Press half the dough into the skillet, spread Nutella, top with remaining dough.
  6. Add topping: Mix ½ teaspoon cinnamon with sugar, sprinkle on top.
  7. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool and serve: Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
