Oats Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:

  • chopped pecans
  • sliced banana
  • chia seeds
  • a drizzle of maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a jar or airtight container, combine the oats, milk, Greek yogurt (if using), maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  2. In the morning, stir the oats again and add your desired toppings. Enjoy cold, or warm in the microwave for about 30–60 seconds if you prefer it heated.
