Oats Mixture:
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Optional Toppings:
- chopped pecans
- sliced banana
- chia seeds
- a drizzle of maple syrup
Instructions
- In a jar or airtight container, combine the oats, milk, Greek yogurt (if using), maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- In the morning, stir the oats again and add your desired toppings. Enjoy cold, or warm in the microwave for about 30–60 seconds if you prefer it heated.
