Description

  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Optional Toppings:

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Add Flavors: Remove from heat and quickly stir in lime zest, lime juice, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Mix with Cereal: Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated. Optionally, stir in white chocolate chips while warm.
  4. Press into Pan: Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch pan using a buttered spatula or parchment paper.
  5. Top and Cool: Sprinkle crushed graham crackers and extra lime zest over the top. Let cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then cut into squares and serve.
