Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Nonstick spray or butter (for greasing)
Fillings
- 1/2 pound sliced deli ham
- 1/2 pound sliced hard salami
- 1/2 pound sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 pound sliced provolone cheese
Egg Mixture
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter to prevent sticking.
- Form the Bottom Crust: Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, making sure to seal the seams to create a solid crust layer.
- Layer Meats and Cheese: Spread half of the sliced ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese evenly over the dough base.
- Mix Egg Filling: In a medium bowl, whisk together 4 eggs (reserve 1 tablespoon for brushing), grated Parmesan cheese, dried Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and ground black pepper until fully combined.
- Pour Egg Mixture: Pour half of this egg mixture evenly over the layered meats and cheese in the baking dish.
- Repeat Layers: Add the remaining deli meats and provolone cheese on top of the egg mixture, then pour the remaining egg mixture over these layers, spreading evenly.
- Add Top Crust: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the filled layers, pressing the seams and edges firmly to seal the casserole.
- Brush and Bake: Use the reserved tablespoon of beaten egg to brush the top of the dough, giving it a nice golden finish once baked. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is cooked through.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
