Instructions
- Mash the Avocado: In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth or slightly chunky, based on your preference. Set aside.
- Fry the Halloumi: Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the halloumi slices and fry for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy. Remove from heat.
- Toast the Bread: Toast the sourdough slices to your desired crispness. Spread a generous layer of mashed avocado on each slice.
- Assemble the Toasts: Top each avocado-covered toast with 2–3 slices of fried halloumi cheese.
- Add Finishing Touches: Drizzle hot honey over each toast and sprinkle with red pepper flakes or fresh herbs if using. Serve immediately.
