Marinade:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Garnish (optional):
- Chopped green onions
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prepare Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate Wings: Add the chicken wings to the marinade, toss to coat evenly, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat Grill: Heat the grill to medium and oil the grates.
- Grill Wings: Remove wings from marinade, grill for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, turning occasionally.
- Baste Wings: Brush wings with leftover marinade during the first 10–15 minutes of grilling.
- Serve: Transfer to a platter, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

- For crispier skin, increase grill heat at the end or broil briefly.
