Description

These Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts are a flavorful and easy-to-make side dish that will elevate any meal. The Brussels sprouts are perfectly roasted with garlic, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese until tender and caramelized, creating a delicious combination of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

Scale

Brussels Sprouts:

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

Seasoning:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Finishing Touches:

  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Brussels sprouts: In a bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Roast the Brussels sprouts: Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down. Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until tender and caramelized.
  4. Finish with Parmesan: Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, tossing gently to coat.
  5. Serve: Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the Brussels sprouts for 2–3 minutes at the end of roasting.
  • You can also add red pepper flakes for a little heat.
