Cauliflower:

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets

Other Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 8 ounces cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Heat Skillet: Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook Cauliflower: Add cauliflower and cook for 6–8 minutes until lightly browned and starting to soften.
  3. Add Mushrooms: Add remaining butter and mushrooms. Cook for 5–6 minutes until mushrooms are golden.
  4. Season: Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant.
  5. Finish: Toss everything together and cook until cauliflower is tender. Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan, parsley, and lemon juice.
