Shrimp:

  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)

Marinade:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Additional:

  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Metal or soaked wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp, coat, and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Preheat and Grill: Heat grill to medium-high, oil grates. Skewer shrimp (4–5 per skewer). Grill 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
  3. Finish and Serve: Sprinkle with parsley, serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  • You can also grill these on a grill pan indoors if preferred.
