Description

This Garlic Butter Ground Turkey with Cauliflower Skillet is a flavorful and satisfying one-pan meal perfect for a quick and easy dinner. Tender ground turkey is cooked with fragrant garlic, butter, and a medley of seasonings, then combined with cauliflower for a low-carb twist. Finished with a pop of fresh lemon juice and parsley, this dish is both wholesome and delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Cook Onion: Add the onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add Garlic and Turkey: Stir in the garlic, then add the ground turkey. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  4. Cook Cauliflower: Add the cauliflower and chicken broth. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes until cauliflower is tender.
  5. Finish: Remove the lid, add lemon juice, and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Stir in parsley, adjust seasonings, and serve.

Notes

  • You can substitute cauliflower with broccoli or zucchini for variety.
  • To make it spicier, add red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with rice, quinoa, or enjoy on its own as a low-carb meal.
