  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season the chicken bites with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  3. Sauté Asparagus: In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds, then add asparagus and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp. Return chicken to the pan.
