Fried Dace with Salted Black Beans:
- 1 can (8 oz) fried dace with salted black beans
Stir-Fry:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch Chinese broccoli (gai lan) or bok choy, trimmed and chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- Cooked jasmine rice for serving
Instructions
- Heat Oil: Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Stir-Fry Greens: Add greens, stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until just tender. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, water, and white pepper.
- Add Dace: Add fried dace with black beans, breaking fish into chunks. Cook for 1–2 minutes until heated through.
- Serve: Serve hot over steamed jasmine rice.
