Fried Dace with Salted Black Beans:

  • 1 can (8 oz) fried dace with salted black beans

Stir-Fry:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch Chinese broccoli (gai lan) or bok choy, trimmed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • Cooked jasmine rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat Oil: Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  2. Stir-Fry Greens: Add greens, stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until just tender. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, water, and white pepper.
  3. Add Dace: Add fried dace with black beans, breaking fish into chunks. Cook for 1–2 minutes until heated through.
  4. Serve: Serve hot over steamed jasmine rice.
