Description

Indulge in the ultimate cheesy garlic experience with this Epic Stuffed Garlic Bread recipe. Loaded with flavorful garlic butter and a trio of melted cheeses, this pull-apart bread is perfect for sharing at any gathering or as a delicious side dish.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 1 large French bread loaf or Italian loaf
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Filling:

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (optional, for extra crispiness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.
  2. Prepare the bread: Slice the loaf into 1-inch sections without cutting all the way through.
  3. Make the garlic butter: Mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Fill the bread: Spread garlic butter inside each cut, then stuff with cheeses and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake: Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 15 minutes covered, then uncover and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until golden.
  6. Serve: Serve warm and pull apart the slices for a cheesy garlic treat!

Notes

  • Add cooked bacon, sautéed mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in a toaster oven or oven.
