Ingredients
Rolled Oats:

Whole Milk (or milk of choice):
2 cups
Eggs:
2 large
Granulated Sugar:
1/4 cup
Vanilla Extract:
1/2 teaspoon
Salt:
1/4 teaspoon
Ground Cinnamon (optional):
1/4 teaspoon
Raisins or Dried Fruit (optional):
1/4 cup
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and the oats are tender, about 10–12 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes before serving to thicken further.
Stir in milk and oats.
If using, add cinnamon and raisins during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
Serve warm, optionally topped with fresh fruit, nuts, or a drizzle of honey.
Notes
- For a richer custard, substitute half of the milk with cream.
