Dough:

Instructions
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.

- Knead: Knead the dough by hand or with a dough hook for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Rise: Shape the dough into a ball, place it in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Prepare Crockpot: Line the crockpot with parchment paper. Place the risen dough in the crockpot and cover with the lid.
- Cook: Cook on high for 2 to 2½ hours until the top is set and the bottom is golden brown. Tap the bread to check for doneness.
- Broil: For a crustier top, broil the bread for 2–3 minutes until golden. Let cool before slicing.
