- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter (for drizzling)
For the Salad:
- 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan
- 1/2 cup croutons

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare Chicken: Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Set up three shallow bowls for dredging: flour in one, beaten egg in another, and a mixture of panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the third. Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat in panko mixture. Place on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil or butter, and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Assemble Salad: Rest chicken, then slice into strips. In a large bowl, toss romaine with Caesar dressing. Top with crispy chicken, shaved Parmesan, croutons, and lemon wedges if desired. Serve immediately.
