Ingredients
Pasta:
12 oz penne pasta
Steak:
1 lb sirloin steak (thinly sliced)
Seasoning:
1 tbsp olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
Sauce:
2 tbsp butter, 3 cloves garlic (minced), 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 2 cups milk, 1 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, 2 tbsp honey, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Toppings:
1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional), 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook pasta: Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Sear steak: Sear the steak slices in olive oil until browned, season, and set aside.
- Make sauce: Sauté garlic, whisk in flour, add milk and cream, buffalo sauce, honey, spices, cheeses, and mix.
- Combine: Mix pasta, steak, and sauce in a baking dish. Top with extra cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions if desired.
Notes
- You can adjust the level of spice by using more or less buffalo sauce.
- Swap sirloin with chicken for a variation.
