Description

These Chicken Avocado Ranch Burritos are a delightful combination of flavors wrapped in a warm tortilla. Creamy avocado, tender chicken, gooey cheeses, and zesty ranch dressing come together to create a satisfying meal that’s perfect for lunch or a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Avocado Ranch Burritos:

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded or diced chicken breast
  • 1 large avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/3 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Optional: chopped cilantro, lime wedges, sour cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix Filling: In a large bowl, combine chicken, avocado, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Gently mix until well combined.
  2. Fill Tortillas: Lay out tortillas and divide the filling evenly among them, placing it in the center. Fold in the sides and roll up tightly like a burrito.
  3. Toast (Optional): Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place burritos seam-side down to toast for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and warmed through.
  4. Serve: Optionally garnish with cilantro, lime wedges, or sour cream. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • These burritos can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  • To reheat, warm in a skillet or microwave.
  • You can also add cooked bacon or swap ranch dressing for chipotle ranch for a smoky twist.
