For the Ricotta Mixture:
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Additional Ingredients:
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
- 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 4 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Prepare the Ricotta Mixture: In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Stir in fresh spinach and half of the parsley.
- Layer the Lasagna: Spread 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer with lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture, chicken, Alfredo sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat layering two more times, ending with Alfredo sauce and cheeses on top.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Rest and Serve: Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with remaining parsley before serving.
