Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix brownie batter: In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, 1 cup sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Pour most of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, reserving about 1/4 cup for swirling.
