Description

These Cajun Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a flavorful and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick dinner or as a tasty appetizer. Tender pieces of steak are coated in Cajun seasoning, seared to perfection, and then tossed in a garlic butter sauce for a delicious finish.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak Bites:

  • pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Steak Bites: Pat steak bites dry with paper towels. Toss steak with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Sear Steak Bites: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in a single layer for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and melt. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Return steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter.
  4. Serve: Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately, with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the garlic butter.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning for desired spice level.
