Description

Cool off with a refreshing glass of Brazilian Lemonade, a creamy and sweet limeade made with just a few simple ingredients. This drink is perfect for hot summer days or any time you need a tropical pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Scale

Limes:

  • 4 limes, quartered

Water:

  • 4 cups cold water

Sweetened Condensed Milk:

  • 1/2 cup

Sugar (adjust to taste):

  • 1/4 cup

Ice:

  • 1 cup

Additional Ice for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare Limes: Wash the limes thoroughly and cut them into quarters.
  2. Blend Ingredients: Place the quartered limes, water, sugar, and sweetened condensed milk into a blender. Pulse 4–5 times (do not over-blend to avoid bitterness from the rind).
  3. Strain Mixture: Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove solids.
  4. Chill and Serve: Stir in the ice to chill or serve over individual glasses filled with ice. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • This drink is best enjoyed fresh, as the blended lime rinds can turn bitter if left to sit.
  • For a creamier texture, add more sweetened condensed milk.
  • You can substitute limes with lemons, but the flavor will be slightly different.
