Additional Ice for serving
Instructions
- Prepare Limes: Wash the limes thoroughly and cut them into quarters.
- Blend Ingredients: Place the quartered limes, water, sugar, and sweetened condensed milk into a blender. Pulse 4–5 times (do not over-blend to avoid bitterness from the rind).
- Strain Mixture: Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove solids.
- Chill and Serve: Stir in the ice to chill or serve over individual glasses filled with ice. Serve immediately.
Notes
- This drink is best enjoyed fresh, as the blended lime rinds can turn bitter if left to sit.
- For a creamier texture, add more sweetened condensed milk.
- You can substitute limes with lemons, but the flavor will be slightly different.
