- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 24 oz tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/2 cup beef broth or water
Optional Toppings:
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Beef Sauce: Brown ground beef and onion in olive oil. Add garlic, seasonings, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and broth. Simmer.
