Avocado Jalapeño Dip:

  • 2 ripe avocados (peeled and pitted)
  • 1 jalapeño (seeded for mild, chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or blender, combine avocados, jalapeño, sour cream, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, leave some or all jalapeño seeds.
  • Add a splash of olive oil for a silkier texture or a few tablespoons of Greek yogurt to lighten it up.
