Description

Delicious and easy Air Fryer Steak Bites made with tender top sirloin filet, perfectly seasoned and cooked quickly in the air fryer to deliver juicy, flavorful steak pieces coated in a savory garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak and Seasoning

  • 16 oz Top Sirloin Filet, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 Tbsp (8g) Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp (6g) Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp (21g) Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Parsley Flakes

Instructions

  1. Season the Steak: Toss the cut steak pieces with olive oil to coat evenly. In a separate bowl, mix together brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Coat the steak pieces thoroughly with the seasoning mixture. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
  2. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer at 400ºF (204ºC) for 5 minutes to ensure it reaches the ideal cooking temperature for steak bites.
  3. Air Fry the Steak: Place the seasoned steak pieces in the air fryer basket, arranging them in a single layer. Air fry at 400ºF for 4-6 minutes depending on your preferred level of doneness, flipping halfway through if desired for even cooking.
  4. Prepare Garlic Butter Sauce: While the steak cooks, melt the butter in a small pan or microwave-safe bowl. Stir in garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and parsley flakes until combined, creating a flavorful garlic butter sauce.
  5. Toss and Serve: Once the steak bites are cooked, immediately toss them in the prepared garlic butter sauce until fully coated. Serve hot for the best taste and texture.

Notes

  • For medium-rare steak bites, air fry for about 4 minutes; increase time for more well-done preferences.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket to allow even cooking and browning.
  • You can adjust the spice levels by adding more or less chili powder and red pepper flakes based on your heat preference.
  • Let the steak bites rest a couple of minutes after air frying to allow juices to redistribute.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or garnish with extra parsley for presentation.
